Sweet Potato Parker Rolls with Spicy Maple Butter

Makes 12 rolls

Everything you want and need in a dinner roll can be found here— tender, soft, pillowy, drenched in garlic butter, and ever-so-slightly sweet from the addition of sweet potato flesh. If making homemade bread overwhelms you (I get it), this will be the recipe that changes that. The dough could not be easier to pull together. Just dump everything in a stand mixer and let it rip until smooth and supple. From there, you have two choices: chill the dough for up to 2 days in the fridge (this makes Thanksgiving prep and pre-planning a breeze) or let it rise at room temperature and bake off day of. The garlicky maple and chili butter you drown them in may be the single greatest bread complement of all time, but I’ll let you and your friends and fam weigh in on that in just a few weeks!
