Strawberry Praline Triflemisu

SERVES: 8-12

Here’s what happens when you take one of America’s favorite summer desserts, the strawberry shortcake, and mash it up with an Italian classic, Tiramisu. There is, of course, no espresso in sight, but instead you’ll dip ladyfingers into a freshly macerated strawberry syrup, and then layer them amongst pillowy clouds of whipped vanilla mascarpone. A homemade hazelnut praline really sends this to new dimensions–you’ll hit pockets of crunchy, crackly sugar-coated nuts as you eat. This recipe feeds a lot of bellies so serve this to a crowd at your next picnic or bbq and let the compliments rolllll on in for hours.
